In my work as a post-partum nurse (kraamverzorgende), I’m often present at births — supporting families through one of the most intense and meaningful experiences of their lives. I would love to start documenting these moments as well: the atmosphere, the emotion, the strength, the quiet in-between.

To build my portfolio, I’m currently looking for expectant mothers (and partners) who would like their birth documented. In exchange for your permission to use the photos in my portfolio and on my website, I offer the session free of charge.

My approach is calm and respectful — I work with minimal equipment and only photograph when it feels appropriate. The focus is always on authenticity and sensitivity, capturing the real energy of the birth rather than staging or directing.
