I studied psychology and anthropology at University College Utrecht before turning to photography at KASK (Ghent) and the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. My academic background still shapes how I see — with curiosity for people, their rituals, and the quiet connections between them.

My work moves between art and commission, but the approach is always the same: to observe with attention and photograph from presence. I’m drawn to moments that feel honest — the unguarded, in-between states where something real appears.

In 2025 I began studying postpartum care (kraamzorg), and expect to start practicing by 2026. Naturally, this has led to new work surrounding pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood — expanding my practice in both art and care.

Currently based in Amsterdam and working from my studio at Treehouse NDSM, I collaborate with artists, institutions, and families alike — creating imagery that balances observation with intimacy.
