reportage photography
CONCEPTReportage photography is about capturing a moment or event in a narrative fashion, and therefore positions itself somewhere between standard event photography and full-on conceptual branding. Through a documentary approach, the goal is to write a well-rounded visual portrait.
Typically, reportage photography for me involves following some type of group around and documenting their activities and interpersonal relationships.
When shooting reportage, I really try to infiltrate a group or space, so that I can authentically represent the inside out experience and create an intimate and accurate image.
